AGRICULTURE
PROJECT DETAILS

Farming is an initiative aimed at bringing transformation to individuals, communities and nations through faithful and productive use of land.

God has revealed a very simple conservation farming method with an implementation management teaching, which when applied help people to apply the Gospel to their lives.

Our desire is that through the life lesson of farming we will help the vast masses of Africa and the developing world, who are dependent on the land, to faithfully use what they have been given to turn a profit and come out of poverty. But while Africa is rich in soil fertility, its children still suffer from hunger and starvation.

Air Foundation seeks to eradicate food insufficiency by its “Food for all programme.” This among others will have to do with:

Provide food aid to regions suffering from famine and starvation.

Support and encourage the small farmers’ scheme project

Train and educate small and rural farmers on various agricultural methods

Established agricultural institutions/Centres for emerging farmers.

Equip farmers with agricultural tools.

Access financial funding and loans to small and rural farmers.

Partner with governments to build farm to market roads

Find markets for their products.

Create cooperatives among community members for financial empowerment.

DISASTER RELIEF

The rural areas of Bangladesh are affected very much by weather changes and they are very vulnerable to natural calamities like floods. Without protection and strong foundations destruction ravages the homes and stores or the locality. Many goods and supplies and raw products like crops are lost in addition to all the casualties. These factors leave people feeble and in need of our help.

A report from the Daily Dhaka Tribune as recent as 27 July, 2019 stated that 28 districts have been flooded in the month of July alone. To provide a helping hand to these people in need, we provided emergency flood relief to the victims of Gaibandha district in North Bengal for 5 days straight. Including necessities like healthy food and clean water Air Foundation team has distributed provisions to countless families and made a huge difference in these five days. However, this is not the end.

DVASTATING CYCLONE AMPHAN EMERGENCY RELIEF FOR BANGLADESH

While coronavirus literally shaking the entire world including Bangladesh, unfortunately another disaster has hit Bangladesh pretty hard which has caused losses of wealth more than $1 billion. The impact of this cyclone is worse than corona virus.185 km per hour (115 miles/h) wind slammed into Bangladesh’s southwestern region and run over like a bulldozer over all the villages.10 million people were affected, and some 500,000 people may have lost their homes and 5 million people are living without power. People are living in fears of the corona virus pandemic that it may spread in crowded shelters.Physical distancing is virtually impossible as families packed into reinforced schools, government buildings and community halls. Villagers has lost home, cropland, fisheries and Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is also damaged by this super cyclone.

Bangladesh is a country prone to natural calamity with disasters like floods and tornadoes being prevalent. Up to 3 million people are affected by devastating floods every year. Losing everything they have and falling vulnerable to illnesses these defenseless victims have no one to turn to.

A report as recent as 27 July, 2019 stated that 28 districts have been flooded in the month of July alone. To provide a helping hand to atleast some of these people in need, our partnering organization Bangladesh Muktijuddha Projonmo Foundation has provided emergency flood relief to the victims of Gaibandha district in North Bengal for 5 days straight. Including necessities like healthy food and clean water Bangladesh Muktijuddha Projonmo Foundation has distributed provisions to countless families and made a huge difference in these five days. However, this is not the end.

More than 500 acres of harvest have been washed away by the rampant waters stripping local farmers of all their hope and hard work. To become a beacon of hope for these farmers and bring back their purpose of life, together with Bangladesh muktijuddha projonmo foundation we have embarked on a project that will distribute nut seeds and provide necessary cultivation aid to more than 600 farmers affected in Shushua char, Bhuapur, Tangail district in Bangladesh. By sponsoring this project, we are also making a huge improvement in the area as the cultivation leads to new harvests. To do this, we need your assistance. Your generosity can make it possible for us to bring back happiness and fulfillment in the lives of these flood affected people.

FOOD FOR HUNGRY

Bangladesh is one of the world’s most densely populated countries; home for 164 million people in an area the size of Illinois. Economic inequality has increased, about 32 percent, i.e. 50 million people still live in extreme poverty. Compounded by corona pandemic & recurrent natural disasters, Bangladesh is struggling immensely with food insecurity. Its common to see homeless parents with children living in the streets. People who live from hand to mouth struggling hard now due to outbreak of corona virus. While we (to whom it applies) are blessed to stay home, with food for our families, millions of poor people are struggling to manage a meal for their families in Bangladesh.

One of the slum dweller said to us when we gave then food that “It is hard to even manage one meal a day let alone two meals for the family. The children are happy that they do not have to worry for the next meal.”

Poor people are everywhere in our society. Especially in Corona pandemic, adice mosq dengu, the number is increasing in alarming rate. People who used to live hand to mouth, now are struggling for one meal a day, passing their days in extreme hardship.

In collaboration with Air Foundation  is determined to help these people by providing at least one meal a day. Bangladesh muktijuddha projonmo Foundation is working relentlessly on its Food Project and asking you to contribute in this noble act. Please come forward and accompany us in the journey of helping the needy and helpless by ensuring at least one meal a day.

Please come forward and donate to keep the smile on the face of the poor helpless people.

ROHINGYA REFUGEES

The Rohingya Muslims of Burma (Myanmar) are considered one of the most persecuted groups of people in the world. 1.3 million of them have fled to Bangladesh as refugees because of the ethnic cleansing occurring in their country. These refugees do not have access to medical care, constant food supply, or shelter. On a monthly basis we facilitate medical aid to children and adults in the camps. With enough resources we could also feed and offer temporary shelters for these individuals. We provide regular relief to them and aim to be able to provide for all their needs. In collaboration with Air Foundation we have established Six Children Learning Center sand Six Medical Camps in the refugee camps. The children care center supports more than 300 children and we have plans to expand and take in even more helpless children. Medical camp provides primary care, emergency care, distributing medicines, offering health advice, and so much more. Every week more than 700 patients are attended by doctors at the medical camps. Other projects we have implemented to aid refugees include the distribution of blankets, food, mosquito nets, cooking pots, and other aid. We have also installed many tube-well pumps to provide water to refugees within the camp. With the grace of Allah (SWT) Bangladesh Muktijuddha Projonmo Foundation hopes to expand our efforts in the region.

Alhamdulillah every night of Ramadan 2022 we distributed Iftar from several distribution centres in the refugee camps. We need your help in order to continue these efforts, please open your hearts to bring smiles and donate now.
